I believe that design is an essential tool for communicating important information and solving problems. For instance, I had the pleasure of working with Tick Tag Go, a research Extension at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, to create informational cards about the different types of ticks found in Nebraska. These cards are an essential resource for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to avoid tick-borne illnesses. Through my digital drawings and infographics, I was able to convey important information in a visual and engaging way. Additionally, I was asked to redesign the information cards in Arabic, French, Karen, Spanish and Vietmanese. This expanded my experience with working with different languages in type.
