In my advanced graphic design class at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I was tasked with creating a large-scale concept poster focusing on mapping, charting, and diagramming, in partnership with One Health. The goal was to illustrate the interconnectedness of all living things. I chose to center my concept around the Salt Creek tiger beetle and its role in our ecosystem. Through this project, I delved into the intricacies of the insect, its habitat, human impact, and environmental dynamics. I aimed to convey the message of unity by making the beetle the focal point of the ecosystem, using Cinema 4D to bring it to life in a pop-up installation.
